Bear Valley Y Camp is home to 5 weeks of overnight camp for youth ages 8-17. Our traditional week-long programs offer age appropriate activities and cabin groups designed to inspire friendships, creativity and growth. Each week-long session is packed full of fun, adventure and new experiences to last a lifetime. Camp offers your child an exciting and safe community to explore the outdoors, build self-esteem, develop interpersonal skills, and make lasting friendships and memories. Our trained staff encourage children to develop confidence by challenging them to try new things and aim for their highest potential. As a result, a week away from home can result in unimaginable growth in your child.
Our 2011 sessions will begin July 11 and continue until August 12. Each week-long camp session costs $350 per camper.
Youth ages 15-17 interested in developing their leadership skills are invited to apply to our two-week Counselor in Training (C.I.T.) Program July 11-22. C.I.T.’s enjoy two weeks at camp engaged in team building activities and trainings that will develop their leadership skills and leave them with a greater understanding of who they can be. The cost for our two-week program is $675.
In addition to our weekly camp programming Bear Valley Y Camp offers Family Camp Weekends. Our Family Camps are the ideal way to spend a weekend away from home. We take the stress out of camping by providing all your meals and rustic cabins to sleep in.
While at camp families are invited to do things at their own pace, or participate in activities lead by camp staff. In previous years families have gone swimming, taken a hike, been creative while doing arts and crafts, and laughed around the campfire while singing silly songs. Get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and join us in the great outdoors July 22-24 or August 12-14. A weekend at camp is reasonably priced at $60 per person ages 12 and up, $35 per person 4-11, and FREE for youth ages 3 and under. Price is based on child’s age at camp.
