DescriptionThe purpose of the camp is to inspire every camper to become the best person they can possibly be. Each day the campers are presented with a new lesson, a new challenge, and a new chance to grow, to make friends and learn.The YMCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving Spirits, Minds and Bodies; and YMCA Camp Indian Springs is the key to our mission to inspire and to help people of all ages excel in every aspect of their life.And the best part of the program is; it’s FUN!!! Campers make new friends, have new experiences, and learn important new lessons all at the same time!!! Our camp program gives campers opportunities to increase self-esteem through activities like our climbing tower; increased ability and discipline in archery; or express their creativity through artistic exploration at our arts & crafts center.Camp helps campers increase social skills that are nurtured in the cabin unit where campers meet children and staff from diverse backgrounds; share memories with old friends; and explore cabin unity with the leadership of a professional role model.
