2010 has been named "International Year of Biodiversity". With the destruction of many of our planet's habitats, increasing numbers of animals showing up on the endangered species list, and the rise in concerns about global climate change, it's becoming more important than ever for kids to learn about the importance of protecting these species and their habitats.
Join NJAAS as we explore the ocean's biodiversity and learn about animals like endangered sharks, seahorses and penguins, through field trips, hands on activities, behind the scenes and exhibit tours at Adventure Aquarium, crafts, games, a 4D Theatre Show and up-close animal encounters.
