With a history of over 120 years, Trail Blazers has developed into a nationally recognized program - our unique decentralized model of camping, delivers results and excitement, unparalleled by any youth program of this sort. We take much pride in our history as the second oldest program of this kind in the United States.Youngsters and young adults who are productive, responsible, and compassionate citizens in their communities.Through outdoor experiential environmental education, we strive to facilitate the development of values and life skills essential for productive citizenship in young people.

Trail Blazers was a founding program in experiential and outdoor education and continues to build on these foundations. Since 1887, childen have travelled to our camp to spend time outside of the city or simply to have the summer of a life time.
