Lexington Prep School offers two intensive 4 week summer camps for SAT and SSAT preparation and ESL study.

Our 2010 Summer camps will run from:

Session I: Monday, July 5 through Friday, July 30

Session II: Monday, August 2 through Friday, August 27

SAT Camp:

    * 10 students or fewer in every class

    * 140 instructional hours for 4 weeks of intensive SAT Math and English study

          o English SAT

            Writing and grammar skills

            Critical reading skills

            Vocabulary

          o Math SAT

            Intensive skill development

            How to answer word and logic problems

            How to recognize SAT traps

    * Private tutoring is also available

    * One full SAT practice test each week and daily quizzes

    * One college tour each week, including Harvard University, MIT, Brown University and Boston University

    * One excursion each week to Canobie Lake Park, Hampton Beach and Water Country

SSAT Camp:

    * 10 students or fewer in every class

    * 140 instructional hours for 4 weeks

    * Weekly full SSAT test and daily quizzes

    * Each student will be personally advised about the private high school application process.

    * One college tour each week, including Harvard University, MIT, Brown University and Boston University

    * One excursion each week to Canobie Lake Park, Hampton Beach and Water Country

ESL Camp:

    * Reading, writing, speaking/listening, grammar

    * 140 instructional hour for 4 weeks

    * Activities every week

    * Conversation with native English speakers and visits to historic sites.
