Summer at Crossroads offers a comprehensive program that models its philosophy and coursework after the Crossroads academic-year curriculum. By choosing one course or building a full-day schedule, students are challenged to develop skills, to enjoy learning, and to grow in areas of special interest. Summer at Crossroads is open to the public and enrollment is processed on a first-come first-serve basis.
Through the years we have welcomed thousands of students who have participated in our programs. Students have traveled from New York, Texas, Wisconsin, Florida, Arizona, Hawaii, Connecticut, South Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming, and Colorado. They travel from as far away as Canada, England, France, Italy, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Korea, Russia, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, and Taiwan to participate in our programs.
During the summer of 2009 our more than 750 students enrolled in over 100 courses that were taught or led by more than 140 faculty and staff. Our students represent a diverse population. Last summer they come from 78 California zip code areas, from out-of-state, and from other countries. During the school year they attend more than 145 different public, private, or independent schools.
Many of our students return to participate summer after summer and they and their parents tell us that they are thrilled with their positive experiences in our programs.
We hope that you will join them, as we know that your Summer at Crossroads will be filled with learning, fun, friends, and great memories. We hope to see you this SUMMER AT CROSSROADS!
