Description

We are very excited to announce that we have joined forces with our friends at SurfCamps USA. We will still offer the same great service; however, we now have more options for our clients to choose from.  Click on the logo to view the SurfCamps USA website for more information.

Check out Louie giving some surf tips to North County News reporter  Stephanie Ramos.  It was a lot of fun and we want to thank Stephanie and her camera woman Jehn Kordela for giving us the opportunity to share what we do with their viewers.

Each lesson begins with a 15 minute beach instruction explaining surf fundamentals like the "pop-up," water safety and surf etiquette. This is so the student is not only more prepared, but also feels more confident before they enter the water. Most students are up and standing within the first 30 min in the water, with the rest of the lesson focused on reading waves, direction etc. Our mission is to make students as independent as possible before the lesson is over.  After their lessons, we encourage students to call with any questions to continue their education, and ensure their success as a surfer.

Park as close to the cross streets of Pacific and Tyson Streets.  Parking on Pacific St. south of Tyson St. is free parking, and parking north of Tyson st. on pacific steet is metered.  Take the wooden steps at the end of Tyson St. Down to the beach and our blue tent with our orange surfboard logo is at bottom of the stairs in the sand. Parents may also use the strand along the beach for drop off only.

Camps are 4 hours of exciting, but safe good-clean fun!  Campers will not just be "babysat",  but REALLY be able to ride waves by the end of the camp. Camps have a 3:1 - 4:1 instructor/student ratio to ensure the proper amount of supervision and attention needed to ride waves.  We maintain a close relationship with lifeguards and are located just south of the lifeguard station.  Campers will enjoy all the pleasures that the beach has to offer, and quality instruction you can count on.
