DescriptionRepresentative Thom Tillis will ask the NC Legislature to create a Carolina Raptor Center license plate this May. Sign up here if you want to receive additional information about purchasing a plate when they become available. The cost is $30 over the regular license plate cost. Carolina Raptor Center is dedicated to environmental stewardship and the conservation of birds of prey through education, research, and the rehabilitation of injured and orphaned raptors. We are a charitable 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and rely on public financial support to fulfill our mission. Our environmental education programs reach approximately 40,000 students each year. Educators feel a responsibility to share their knowledge with our community in hopes that our enthusiasm will then be reflected in the faces in front of us. At the head of the food web, raptors are leading scientific indicators of a healthy environment. Details
