Description

Hunter Crest Farm is a full service Hunter/Jumper training and boarding facility that caters to all levels of riders, from beginners who simply want to enjoy horses and riding, to A-rated competitors wishing to improve their Hunter/Jumper skills.

We are a privately owned and operated business that has been providing Hunter/Jumper equestrian services to the Maryland community  for over 15 years. We are happy to offer our clients facilities at two Maryland locations. The first facility is in the Fulton/Clarksville area of Howard County and our second is in the beautiful Silver Run Valley in northern Carroll County. Our home office, breeding program, field board, and horse retirement operations are provided at our Carroll County facility.

Hunter Crest Farm’s focus has shifted over the years from extensive A-rated Hunter/Jumper showing, to running a full service Hunter/ Jumper business with a comprehensive set of horse programs including quality horse boarding, a Hunter/Jumper Riding School, local and rated horse showing services, and an extensive summer training/ riding program. Hunter Crest Farm also provides selective horse purchasing assistance, horse training, and tune-up services.

The second portion of the Hunter Crest Farm business is a Sales Barn. We currently have a number of quality Hunter, Jumper, and Dressage prospects including some exceptional weanlings, yearlings, 2- and 3-year-olds, and performance horses.

In addition to our Hunter/Jumper services and Sales Barn, Hunter Crest also runs a Breeding Program, the third portion of our business. We have an impressive stallion who is a son of All The Gold. This stallion is the top-ranked International Hunter Futurity (IHF) stallion of all times and his offspring have dominated the IHF competition in recent years. We also have a small but select crop of five excellent broodmares that we use in our breeding program.

Hunter Crest Farm also provides a Retirement Home to many of the horses that have enriched our lives and have given a lifetime of love and service. These retirement horses are given a life of leisure with plenty of grass, horse companionship, and the love and affection they have rightfully earned and deserve. It is our way of trying to return a small measure of thanks for a lifetime of hard work and devotion given.
