Skiing at Shawnee is an exceptional experience. Shawnee Moutain Ski Area is only a two mile car ride from the Inn, which features 23 trails, two terrain parks and a snow tubing park. One quarter of the trails are geared for beginners, 50 percent for intermediate levels and the other quarter for expert skiers.  It’s all here at Shawnee! The natural environment that Shawnee calls home is special to our staff and guests.  We take seriously our responsibility as stewards of this beautiful land: we have instituted recycling and waste reduction programs; we refrain from using chemicals in our housekeeping and laundry, provide a linen reuse program for our guests and are studying the opportunities to use alternative energy.

Our location - on the edge of the pristine Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and on the banks of the wild and scenic Delaware River, mean that a wealth of outdoor recreation opportunities are right on the doorstep of this historic Pennsylvania hotel.  Kayaking, canoeing, rafting, biking, hiking and fishing are all offered right from the grounds of the resort.
