Camp Pontiac was established for boys and girls in 1922. For many years it was a highly regarded camp under the direction of the horowitz family. In 1995 pontiac was jeopardy of closing, following the same fate as many other camps. at that poing the etra family purchased camp pontiac and with the infusion of tremendous capital and the immense effort of many individuals pontiac was reborn The entrie infrastructuer and exteraml facility has been rebuilt, and we now boast on of the most beautiful, spacious and expansive facilities in the camping industry. With approximately 575 campers and 320 staff we are now established as one of the primier camps in the northeast. We have a very active and large alumni and many return to visit to rekindle found memories of their youth.
