Your reservation in the same class every week or every other week enables you to work with your instructor as she shares her skills and love of sewing. The ongoing classes are hands-on, with students using the machine starting with their very first class. Each workstation is equipped with a sewing machine and ample workspace. You are welcome to bring your own machine if you prefer.

We start adults year-round with skills ranging from beginner to advanced. From the person who doesn't know how to thread a machine to the one who knows the basics but is still confused by techniques like zippers and buttons, Making It is the perfect place to get started! Our excellent instructors will walk you through your first steps to show you how to operate a sewing machine, work with fabric, and use commercial sewing patterns. As you gain knowledge of the basics, you will be able to work more independently to speed completion of your masterpieces.
