Atlantis Playmakers was founded in 1998 and quickly developed two distinct programs: outstanding professional theater with a focus on highly physical storytelling, and classes to guide and develop the next generation of artists.  After more than 10 years and nearly 100 productions, we found a new home in Burlington in an intimate theater space, perfect for our unique brand of local theater. Atlantis Playmakers is led by our Artistic Director, Kimberly Davis Basso, and our company of directors, actors, designers, technicians and coaches.  Membership in Atlantis Playmakers acting company is by invitation, typically our productions are half company members and half guest artists.
