DescriptionThe Y-Guides program values the opportunity to help teach your child the importance of serving others. An important and unique opportunity within the program is parents and children working together to develop and enjoy volunteer leadership skills. Participating together in events such as Park Clean-Up Days, winter coat drives, stocking food pantries and collecting school supplies are examples of opportunities we create for a child to learn to be a servant leader who positively impacts their community.
As a Federation, we coordinate at least four group community service opportunities during the school year. We encourage tribes and individuals to volunteer and serve our community. If you are looking for a service opportunity for your tribe you may consider: Details
