A small town university located right outside Sacramento and just over an hour from San Francisco, UC Davis is one of the best summer tennis camps in California.
Entering his 15th year with the UC Davis women's tennis team, Bill Maze will co-direct this camp. As the Aggies head coach, he has continued a strong tradition of winning, visiting the NCAA D-II Championships in each of his first eight seasons and advancing to the quarterfinals five times.
Under Coach Maze, the Aggies have gone 123-73, including a 43-5 mark in conference matches. UC Davis captured the California Collegiate Athletic Association title three times from 1999 to 2004.
Maze earned his B.S. in economics from Stanford in 1978. Under the tutelage of Cardinal Coach Dick Gould, Maze was a three-time All-American, playing No. 1 doubles with John McEnroe as a senior. He played the pro tour from 1978-84.
