Through 24 locations across Southern California, AbilityFirst provides programs and services to help children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities reach their full potential throughout their lives. Most AbilityFirst programs qualify for funding through the state-supported Regional Centers. However, government support provides only about half of the dollars necessary to deliver high quality programs and services. As a nonprofit organization, we rely heavily on the generous support of hundreds of donors who share our vision.With 24 facilities throughout Southern California, including community and work centers, we offer a broad range of after-school and camp programs for children with disabilities, as well as recreational, socialization and employment programs for adults.

Most of our eight Community Centers offer both after-school enrichment programs for children as well as day programs for adults, while our three Work Centers offer a professional work setting for adults with developmental disabilities. AbilityFirst’s beautiful Camp Paivika in the San Bernardino mountains offers camp programs for children, teens and adults. We also operate 12 Accessible Residential Housing complexes for adults with physical disabilities.
