Charlotte 49ers junior Moritz Bernhoerster and sophomore Charles Martin-Lecamp were named Men's Tennis All-Atlantic 10 Conference First-Team members, the league announced today, after a vote of the league's head coaches.



Martin-Lecamp led Charlotte with 14 singles wins in 2010, including seven wins at number-two singles in the spring dual match season. The Paris native also won ten doubles matches with three partners combined this year, including seven wins at the number-three doubles spot in the line-up. Martin-Lecamp is named to his first All-Conference team.



Bernhoerster had ten singles and ten doubles wins for Charlotte this year, playing at number-one singles and number-one doubles. The native of Duesseldorf, Germany, along with senior Jesse Hutchinson posted an 8-8 mark in doubles, the most wins by any one pair for Charlotte during the year. That tandem also won three doubles matches at the A-10 Tournament, the most for any 49ers pair. He repeats on the First Team All-Conference squad.



Charlotte won it's opening match at the tournament, before finishing seventh at the 2010 A-10 Championships,



Temple's Filip Rams was named the Atlantic 10's men's tennis Most Outstanding Performer.



In the same vote, Sebastian Fauchet of Richmond was named Most Outstanding Rookie Performer and Xavier head coach Eric Toth garnered his third-straight Coach of the Year honor. Junior Eric Larregola of St. Bonaventure was selected as the Student-Athlete of the Year in a separate vote of the Conference's sports information directors.

Joining Rams, Fauchet, Bernhoerster and Martin-Lecamp on the All-Conference first-team are Duquesne's Jeremy McClelland; George Washington's Ugur Atalay, Erik Hannah and Chris Kushma; Chris Post and Diego Valdenegro of St. Bonaventure; Temple's Kacper Rams; and Xavier's Chris Herrlinger.
