University of Iowa Head Men's Tennis Coach Steve Houghton announced today Chase Tomlins, a senior at Cascia Prep in Tulsa, OK, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the University of Iowa.



Tomlins, who chose the Hawkeyes over TCU and SMU, is a three-time Oklahoma state singles champion and will compete for his fourth title this month. Tomlins is nationally ranked and was ranked fourth in the USTA Missouri Valley section.



"Chase is already a very accomplished junior player with tremendous potential to become an outstanding college player," said Houghton. "He will be a great addition to our team."

Offices for the staff of the men's tennis program at the University of Iowa are located on the second level of the administrative wing of Carver-Hawkeye Arena, the University of Iowa's award-winning basketball facility. Metered public parking is located in University Lot 46, located immediately west of the facility. Upon arrival, visitors should enter Carver-Hawkeye Arena at the North Entrance (Athletic Ticket Office entrance) and take either the elevator or the stairs to the second level.
