This is a brief description of my background in tennis. My family has been active in tennis for almost 50 years. My farther begin teaching tennis in the late 60's. And my parents owned and operated a retail tennis shop in South Orange, NJ from 1974 to 1989.



I've been lucky to have been involved in tennis my whole life. I started my teaching career in 1989 and was certified by the USPTR and began teaching at Four Seasons Health & Racket club. A few years later I joined the USPTA and have been a certified P-1 pro for over 15 years.



With my experience working with elite junior players and as a coach for the USTA Player Development Program, many players I've spent time working with have reached sectional and national rankings. Including Eric Taino who held a ranking of 122 on the ATP Tour.



With over twenty years of teaching and coaching experience. I am presently the Director of Tennis at Rock Spring Club in West Orange, NJ. This year will be my 15th season. I've spent time as a coach for World Team Tennis, (New Jersey Stars) and coaching high school at Villa Walsh Academy. I have also been a Director of Tennis for the Fairmount Country Club in Chatham, NJ.
