Westerville enjoys a nationally-renown public library that regularly ranks as one of the top five in the nation, and the community is home to Otterbein College, which is considered to be one of the top liberal arts colleges in the Midwest. Otterbein’s art, theatre and music programs are favorites and serve as a source of entertainment for area residents. The Westerville Civic Symphony and the Curtain Players are community-based organizations whose concerts and productions enrich young and old throughout the year. The Westerville Music and Arts Festival, a 32-year tradition, is the highlight of the summer, while Fourth Friday Celebrations bring Uptown Westerville alive with activity each April through September.
