At Elbow Lane, our athletic program is second to none.  Our emphasis is on building  confidence and having FUN!  Campers are divided into groups by ability. They practice and play on facilities scaled to their size and skill level.   This approach guarantees frequent success and promotes a positive self-image for every camper.



One of the most popular attractions at Elbow Lane Day Camp is our swim program.  An experienced staff of Red Cross Instructors is proud of their record of turning non-swimmers into swimmers.  The children receive a period of instructional swim plus a period of free swim every day.  Each of our 4 pools has been designed with age and ability level in mind.  As children build confidence and skill, they advance to a larger pool.  We challenge the more advanced swimmers with new strokes, competitive swimming and Basic Water Safety.



Over the past several years, we have made a major commitment to upgrade and expand our "Nature" area.  What was once described as an outdoor "boy scout" type of program has grown into a full-fledged Adventure/Challenge program for campers of all ages.  Although we continue to refer to our 10 acres of woodlands as "Nature," it is really much, much more!



Campers are scheduled to these programs each week, based upon their age and level of interest.  Children are encouraged to explore and stretch their creativity to the MAX!
