Description

Simplicity means sleeping in open-air pavilions and tents, canoes and rope swings, night hikes and picnics and the silence of Meeting for Worship.

Our entire program stresses sharing, cooperation, understanding, simple living and most essential of all - fun. Creating a peaceful community starts in the sleeping tents and pavilions, where 8-9 campers live with their counselors under the stars. Boys and Girls live on separate "sides" of camp, each with their own modern shower house. Together they participate in all aspects of camp life. The whole camp community sits down for family style meals in the Dining Hall, and gathers together many times each day for activities and camp-wide events.

ACA ACCREDITATION

Fun And Safety — ACA Camps Set the Standard

ACA Accreditation means that the camp you are considering for your child cares enough to undergo a thorough (up to 300 standards) review of its operation — from staff qualifications and training to emergency management. American Camp Association® collaborates with experts from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Red Cross, and other youth-serving agencies to assure that current practices at the camp reflect the most up-to-date, research-based standards in camp operation. Camps and ACA form a partnership that promotes summers of growth and fun in an environment committed to safety.

We are proud to be an accredited camp since 1994. Every three years, we go through an intensive review and visit by an ACA Standards team. This summer, staff and campers will participate in readying our camp for its 6th visit.
