Description
The International Riding Camp was established in 1978 for girls 7-17, who love horses and riding. Located 90 miles Northwest of New York City, the riding camp provides an environment in which horse lovers can experience various riding disciplines: hunt seat equitation, polo and fox hunting. We offer a well rounded equestrian camp program along with water skiing, tennis and arts and crafts. Our riding camp offers three hours a day of riding lessons. This enables our students to experience success in graduated steps, promoting their esteem and confidence. Since all of our campers love horses, their common interest allows them to make new friends right away. Our campers make lasting friendships that continue many years after they leave our riding camp. Our equestrian camp also offers riding during the winter at our stable at the Windsor Equestrian Centerin Vero Beach, Florida, and at the El Venado polo school in Pila, Argentina. The only riding camp to offer an endless summer of riding for our campers.

Working Student CIT Program
Our working students participate in one riding session each day and work in the stable for all of the other periods, assisting younger campers, feeding and watering horses, mucking stalls and paddocks. There are a limited number of these positions available and any other discounts do not apply to these tuition fees. Working students must be 15 years old by June 14th, 2009 and be able to participate for at least 4 weeks. |
