Trail Blazers is an award-winning youth development organization that, for the past 123 years, has touched the lives of thousands of young people from New York and New Jersey. Our wide offering of programs, ranging from sleep away and day camp to environmental education, class trips and conference rentals, take place on our beautiful 1100 acre site in Sussex County New Jersey and offer something for everyone.

While we believe that our programs should be fun, people are often surprised when we say that fun is not our main goal.  Instead, every aspect of our program is geared toward our mission - to develop the character and impact the personal growth of our participants. Of course, there is plenty of fun along the way!

Trail Blazers was a founding program in experiential and outdoor education and continues to build on these foundations. Each one of our programs and activities emphasizes a respect for nature and offers opportunities for connecting with our stunning natural environment.
