DescriptionProject Morry is a year-round youth development organization that provides to each child a multi-year commitment anchored by a superb residential summer camp experience. The children, for whom these experiences would not otherwise be available, benefit from a network of support and gain increased social skills, enhanced self-esteem, positive core values and a greater sense of personal responsibility. A typical Morry’s Camp day is divided into activity periods, electives and a structured evening program. Campers explore the great outdoors through hiking, fishing, boating, nature study, athletics, performing and fine arts, overnight camping, swimming, and, of course, traditional campfires. Reading takes place in all programs from studying recipes in Culinary Kids to enjoying a good book at the library to writing lyrics in the Music Ascension Program. And for students who need additional assistance, tutoring is an integral part of the summer camp experience.
