Camp Harmony is an 8-week summer day camp serving the children of central New Jersey between the ages of 3-12. Camp Harmony provides a safe environment in which children can grow, learn, and have fun while involved in structured, but non-competitive activities. Camp Harmony and all of its employees strive to be positive influences in the lives of children, and to promote and protect the physical and emotional well being of the campers. Camp Harmony is proud to be accredited by the American Camping Association.

The mission of Camp Harmony is to provide a safe environment in which children can grow, learn, and have fun while involved in structured, but non-competitive activities.  Camp Harmony and all of its employees strive to be positive influences in the lives of children, and to promote and protect the physical and emotional well-being of the campers. 

Camp Harmony was founded in 1926 as a private sleep-away camp during the week and a family retreat on weekends, catering to children and families from New York City.  In 1955, it became a day camp.  Jerry Amedeo joined Camp Harmony as Program Director in 1964, and has owned the camp since 1976 (Jerry has owned Camp Harmony for over 30 years!). Although there have been numerous changes in the programs and on the grounds, Camp Harmony has always endeavored to be a positive influence in the lives of children.
