Camp Deerpark is nestled in the lower Shawangunk Mountains just 80 miles northwest of New York City. Owned and operated by New York City Mennonite churches, the camp offers people of all ages, races and backgrounds the opportunity to enjoy Christian camping at an affordable price.
Camp facilities may be rented by churches, families and other groups. Our year-round lodging facilities can accommodate 69 guests; summer facilities accommodate 103.
Please consider us for your next church retreat or family gathering. We strive to be a place of spiritual, physical and emotional renewal for adults and children.
Camp Deerpark exists to extend the ministry of Jesus Christ. As an outreach of approximately 15 New York City Mennonite Churches, Camp Deerpark stands alone as a camping ministry owned by and dedicated to serving inner city Mennonites. The camp offers people of all ages, races and backgrounds the opportunity to enjoy Christian camping at a reasonable price.
Distinctive to Camp’s program are its cross-cultural ministry (both in terms of ethnic culture and rural/urban culture); opportunities for hands-on leadership and ministry experience for inner city youth; and affordable and welcoming retreat facilities.
Camp Deerpark seeks to promote fellowship and community building, and to embody hospitality, stewardship and respect for creation.
