Camp Squanto is a 650-acre camping facility located in Plymouth, MA, deep in the woods of Myles Standish State Forest.For seven weeks in the summer our trained staff run a high quality, complete, long-term camping experience for troops and individuals totalling nearly 2,000.During other weekends throughout the year Camp Squanto is available to various groups and activities, such as Troop or Webelos camping, band camps, retreats, Order of the Arrow events, Klondike Derbies, Parent-Son Weekends, among others. The camp attracts 20,000 weekend visitors annually.Parents and friends are welcome on Sundays from 1:00 to 6:00 pm. You may tour camp, take advantage of our Trading Post and family picnic area. All visitors are required to sign in at the Camp Office.
Parents are welcome to visit on Wednesday evening for family night. Dinner is not available that night, but picnic areas will be made available.Our business phones may be used in emergencies to contact parents with the permission of your troop scoutmaster. Cell phones are not allowed to be in the possession of campers while at Squanto. The camp office is not equipped to allow for personal internet use by scouts or scouters. Please plan accordingly and try to enjoy a technology free week.Our community store, the Trading Post, is open most of the day except meals. You will find a wide variety of items including T-shirts, patches, mugs, merit badge pamphlets, craft kits, candy, snacks and soda. Please be sure your Scouts have appropriate spending money as to not feel left out.
