Act I, a summer theatre camp for young artists, engages two groups of children (age 8-12 and 13-18) in a month of imaginative, creative play and ensemble building. Classes will be offered in improvisation, voice, dance, musical theatre, and design.

forgetting to have fun. Students build self-confidence and cultivate creativity while experiencing firsthand the magical

power of theater. Mornings will be dedicated to the learning of theatre under the guidance of professional artists, while afternoons will be dedicated to the production of an original work. Students will write and perform an original production based on their favorite fairy tale myths. Talent and creativity will be shared with family and friends with a weekend of performances at the culmination of classes.
