DescriptionA message from VISIONS President Nancy T. Jones and CEO/Executive Director Nancy D. Miller VISIONS is proud to have accomplished over 80 years of service as an incorporated 501(c)3 nonprofit social service and vision rehabilitation agency. Services are provided free of charge for people of all ages who are legally blind or severely visually impaired. Most of VISIONS consumers have very limited income but have unlimited abilities. We hope you contact VISIONS for your vision rehabilitation and independent living training, job placement assistance, support groups and other needs. We would like to give special thanks to independent living aids, inc., for their generous contribution for “The ila CAN-DO Special Needs Fund” at VISIONS; the Lavelle Fund for the Blind; the Hecksher Foundation for Children; the Moses L. Parshelsky Foundation; the New York Community Trust; the Norman & Bettina Roberts Foundation; the Jean & Robert A. Stern Foundation; the Allene Reuss Memorial Trust, and the United Way of New York City for their generous support.
