Peddie School remained coed until 1908, when it was decided, for social and economic reasons, to admit boys only. This standard was reversed in the early 1970s, when girls were readmitted. The school is now coeducational and nondenominational.Gifts from Ambassador Walter H. State US Youth Soccer ODP tryouts. NJYS begins its ODP tryouts during the first two weeks of August before the start of the seasonal year. The U13 and U14 age groups start at a area level within the state and at the end of the initial tryouts, two initial state pools of players are selected. The U15 through U17 age groups conduct a state wide tryout and a initial pool is selected at each age group. Because of high school commitments and weather, the final tryouts are held in April of the next calendar year. At that point a final state pool is selected and the players then have a once a week 8 week training season. The teams have an event during the first weekend in June, the Region I ODP Tournament during the second weekend in June and the program concludes with the Regional Camps held in July. ...

The Waldorf School of Princeton began as a playgroup who met in the home of Caroline Phinney and Princeton professor, Bob Phinney, in January of 1983. By the 1984 school year, a full 18-member Nursery-Kindergarten was established. In 1986, the grade school was inaugurated with a first grade taught by Ekkehard Heyder.
