The Bear Valley Mutual Water Company in 1957 sold the land (known as Camp Cohila) to the Burbank Camp Fire Girls. To develop a camp, roads were graded and some even paved. Many highly ranked national and sectional junior players have attended our camp as well as thousands of young boys and girls, just getting started playing the game of tennis. ...

I'd like to welcome everyone to the Rick Leach Tennis Camp at Big Bear Sports Ranch. After many years on the pro tour I always looked forward to those times when we put on tennis clinics for kids in the many different cities and countries that we traveled to for tournaments. I really enjoyed getting kids excited about our great game of tennis. I carry this philosophy over to my summer camp program. We want every child that comes to our camp to go home energized and passionate about tennis. ...
